1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Shores Villas Condominium Association resident portal ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on the Platform for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

  • modify or copy the materials;
  • use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial);
  • attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on the Platform;
  • remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials; or
  • transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server.

3. User Account

To access certain features of the Platform, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.

4. Account Activity and QuickBooks Information

  • Verified unit owners can view their unit’s balance and account activity, which the Platform reads from the association’s QuickBooks Online company through a read-only connection. Access requires the association’s verification of your ownership and ends when your ownership ends or the association revokes it.
  • This information is provided for your convenience. The association’s accounting records are the official record of amounts charged and paid. Information on the Platform is refreshed twice a day and may be delayed or incomplete, and a recent payment may take several days to appear. If you believe an entry is wrong, contact the association.
  • The Platform does not accept or process payments. The "Make a payment" link opens the association’s bank’s website, which is governed by that bank’s own terms and privacy policy.
  • You may view only the units you are authorized to view. Attempting to access another unit’s information, or sharing your access with others, is prohibited and may lead to suspension of your account.
  • The association may suspend or discontinue this feature at any time.

5. Third-Party Services

The Platform relies on third-party services, including Google Firebase, Vercel, and Intuit QuickBooks Online, as described in our Privacy Policy. Using the Platform does not create an agreement between you and those providers, and you do not need a QuickBooks account to use it.

QuickBooks and Intuit are trademarks of Intuit Inc. They are used here only to identify Intuit’s service. The Platform is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Intuit Inc.

6. Disclaimer

The materials on the Platform are provided "as is". Shores Villas Condominium Association makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.

7. Limitations

In no event shall Shores Villas Condominium Association or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on the Platform.

8. Governing Law

Any claim relating to the Platform shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
